Rat Race To Riches
A Roadmap to Financial Freedom
"It's not where you start,
but the distance you travel that matters."
Growing up, we were poor. We shared a small terraced house with two other families, and slept in one room containing three double beds. That was my childhood.

I failed my 11+ exam, yet went on to become a Qualified Accountant and an MBA Graduate from Henley Business School. I have always been passionate about financial freedom and promoting financial literacy.

For most of my career I worked in the Banking sector in London’s financial district known as the 'Square Mile'. I worked for KPMG, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Mortgage Express, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, GE Insurance Holdings, Capstone Mortgages and The Royal Bank of Scotland.

My other big passion in life is golf, I was captain at my local Golf Club, and have occasionally caddied on the Asian Tour/International Series. Golf is where I find my peace.
Having lost my job, with a baby on the way and mortgage to pay, I decided that I was never going to be at the mercy of my Employer, the Banks or the Government again. Within 12 years, I achieved Financial Independence at the age of 43 and left work at 53 to live life on my terms. I have never looked back since!

My story is captured in, 'Rat Race to Riches', as a guide to those that want to improve their financial literacy and transform their financial future.
